Our Eri Silk is 100% Vegan and dyed with natural organic products like turmeric, charcoal, Seeds of Local Trees ( hilika). They are soft and durable. The unique property of Eri silk is that it keeps the user cold is Summers and hot in Winter, because of it's unique thermal properties. It's handspun and made without damaging the caterpillars from open-ended cocoons. It gets better with time - warmer, softer and more beautiful. The texture is rough but it is softer than other silk. The natural protein layers arae comfortable to the touch and are suitable for those with sensitive or hypoallergenic skin.
